DI has 7 million square feet of built and ready to use warehouses in Dubai of 5,000 to 10,000 square feet in size. These warehouses are designed for cold, chemical and general storage, as well as for light industrial use. All warehouses in Dubai are equipped with an attached office space while all retail showrooms in DI are equipped with back side storage allowing retailers more storage space for their displayed products.
All DI’s warehouses in Dubai have rest facilities for drivers, dedicated praying areas and emergency medical facilities. Warehouses at DI have been built as per the latest health and safety standards and are fitted with fire fighting and safety systems.
Key features of our warehouses in Dubai are as follows:
- Fire rated pre-case concrete walls that can contain fires for four hours.
- Water sprinkler system, fire hose, fire extinguishers and emergency exit doors. Fire proof doors as well as fans across each warehouse.
- Height 8.5m pre-cast frame including pre-cast footing columns, rafters & walls
- 16 meters long grade slab designed to carry truck movements with axial load of up to 8 tons
- Manually operated 6x6m sliding main door
- Internal light fittings
- Provision to be converted into and air conditioned and cold store facility
- 1.5T capacity for internal lifting hook cranes
