DI has more than 6 million square feet of built and ready to use warehouse spaces of 5,000 to 10,000 square feet in size. These warehouses are designed for cold storage, chemicals, transportequipment and parts. For a limited number of warehouses the available amenities include an attached air conditioned office space plus a retail showroom for product displays.
All DI warehouses have rest facilities for drivers and praying areas. Warehouses at DI have been built as per the latest health and safety standards and are fitted with fire fighting and safety systems.

Taasees at DI is a one-stop shop to address all government related issues including licensing, registration, permits and visas. The Permits Department reviews the architectural designs, permit requests, construction plans and infrastructure requirements for adherence to local and statutory requirements. Upon review, DI provides companies with a no objection certificate (NOC) that facilitates expediting approvals from the concerned government departments.

The construction of a 10 kilometers spine road linking the city from North to South, from the Emirates Road to the Dubai Outer Bypass Road, offers easy access to vehicles and trucks across the entire city. The spine road is a dual carriage way, each comprising four lanes on each side. Collector roads as well as local roads in the project have been largely completed.
With close collaboration with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority – DEWA, electrical power is supplied by 4 different 132 KVA substations. A total of 800 MW is readily available to fulfill demand from all planned industrial projects.
To cater to the city’s requirements, work on two Temporary Sewage Treatment Plants (TSTPs) has been completed. The first TSTP plant with a 1600 cubic meters capacity serves the Labor Accommodation of Phase 1 and the second STP with 600 cubic meters capacity is intended to serve DI office buildings.
Availability of water is one of the most important factors in any development. Construction of a water network has been completed and is expected to be connected to DEWA.
Telecom services are provided by a state of the art fiber optic cable network throughout the city, which supports high speed internet service.
A robust storm water drainage network has been planned to be constructed to keep DI free from water residues during the rainy season.
