DNRD Office to Offer Services at Dubai Industrial City
Dubai UAE: 10 June, 2007

Dubai Industrial City (DI), a member of Tatweer, today announced the Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department (DNRD) will establish an office at the free zone, offering quick and easy access to visa and residency services for more than 400 industrial investors.

The agreement was signed by Colonel Obaid Mehayer bin Suroor, Deputy Director of DNRD and Rashed Al Ansari, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Industrial City at the DI premises in the presence of senior officials.

Rashed Al Ansari said: “The DNRD office at Dubai Industrial City will be an additional incentive to our investors. It will greatly expedite visa and immigration-related services to companies across our township and add value to our investor support service offering.

“Dubai Industrial City is keen to work with the investors and we are sure the DNRD decision to set up an office will greatly facilitate in meeting the requirements of our clients and partners.”

Colonel Obaid from the Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department said: “This partnership between Dubai Industrial City and DNRD is part of Dubai Strategic Plan and the DNRD plan to spread its offices in different locations. Now we have 9 branches in all over Dubai and there will be more in the coming future.”

Located close to the new Jebel Ali Airport and Jebel Ali Port with easy accessibility to major highways, the 560 million square feet Dubai Industrial City is a dedicated industrial destination comprising six industrial clusters. They are food and beverage, base metal, mineral products, chemicals, transport equipment and parts, and machinery and mechanical equipment.
