Technical Competencies - Development of Technical Specs
MAQAYEES, Dubai Centre for Industrial Standard was established with a specific mandate to raise the awareness among the industrial community operating within the city to implement and maintain quality, health, safety and environmental systems including those covering occupational health. To this effect, MAQAYEES continuously researches the current practices in the industry with that of the available local and federal standards and specifications and where necessary establishes relevant technical specifications that will ensure asset integrity of solutions offered by Dubai Industrial City.
The philosophy of development of management models, QHSE criteria and standards follows three core phases comprising research and planning, development and governance throughout the project life cycle. The governance is in addition to those instituted by the statutory and regulatory authorities.
